1100 - Der Frostrubin
The Frost Ruby
William Voltz

When the Endless Armada reaches the area where the Frost Ruby is, Ordoban, the Heart of the Armada, announces that they have reached their goal: they have found Triicle-9. The quest of the Armada started millions of years ago when Triicl-9 was robbed despite it being heavily guarded, and the fleet has been trying to retrieve the stolen artefact since then. No Armadist has ever seen Ordoban, who is the creator of the Armada and who lives in a restricted area inside the Armada.

The Armada Unit 176 is made of 50,000 Cygride spaceships and they reach the zone first. They fight off Seth Apophis' spaceships and stop to observe Triicle-9. Every spaceship of the Endless Armada must obey the Pulse, which forbids them from straying off the Armade further than 10,000 light years. Also, all the spaceships are fitted with Goon Blocks, four spherical devices surrounding the spaceship and whose origin is unknown.

The Terran fleet arrives near the Frost Ruby, led by the Base, the Sol and 10,000 other spaceships. Rhodan asks Clifton Callamon to simulate a breakdown with his spaceship, the Sodome, and enter the Endless Armada to gather information.

A mysterious human appears on the Base, who introduces himself as Taurec. He claims he was sent by the Cosmocrats to lead the fight against Seth Apophis. Taurec is worried by how Carfesch and Gesil will react when they see him. He landed on the Base with his spaceship, the Syzzel, and he asks Rhodan to accompany him inside the Frost Ruby in order to determine if Seth Apophis has taken control of it. Taurec also mentions the name Hint Lamasso, in an attempt to get the Terrans to gather information about that person.

Rhodan accepts but once in the Syzzel, he neutralizes Taurec and pilots the spaceship inside the Frost Ruby himself. The inside of the gigantic structure is a mini-continuum in itself, with planets and solar systems. The two men land on one of the planets and meet other humans who are splintered consciousnesses of beings that Seth Apophis control.

Taurec explains to Rhodan that Seth Apophis is actually made of all these splintered consciousnesses and that he is able to cast psycho-streams across the universe to subjugate intelligent creatures. Each time someone becomes his slave, a part of its consciousness is transfered inside the Frost Ruby. Rhodan realizes that the Frost Ruby is nothing else than the mysterious Warehouse, that Tolot was trying to find. The Frost Ruby is a gateway toward the central location of Seth Apophis, which Rhodan identifies with certainy now as being the galaxy M82.

Quiupu reappears inside Srakenduurn. He escaped Gesil with a teleportation step, similar to what Laire's eye allows. Virus researchers are allowed to do this only once in their life, only when their life is threatened. Quiupu meets other virus researchers and observes the reconstruction of the Viral Empire inside the dust cloud.

On Kran, Surfo Mallagan decides to act against Seth Apophis and takes the command of a fleet toward M82. The flagship will be the Cell 2 of the Sol, which will be salvaged from Krane Trap.

The Base emerges alone from the Frost Ruby and surrounded by a massive armada. Stunned, Rhodan thinks that their attempt has failed and that they are back in the Milky Way, but the instruments soon identify the characteristic radiance of M-82, so the teleportation was successful. The only explanation is that the Endless Armada followed them.

What the Terrans don't understand is how come the Endless Armada caught up with them so far, an anomaly that the scientists can only explain with the acausality of the phenomena they went through during the journey.

Suddenly, the Base shakes violently: it's the Bokryl, the flagship of the Cygrides, which has just collided with them. The Cygrides are equally confused by what is going on and Rhodan is having a hard time believing this is a coincidence. Alaska Saedelaere, whose mask has mysteriously vanished during the flight through the Frost Ruby, volunteers to go talk to the Cygrides, who have now boarded the Base since their spaceship has been almost entirely destroyed by the collision.

The Base is threatened by energy fields generated by the Goon Blocks of the Bokryl, and Terrans and Cygride cooperate to drag the Base outside of the danger zone. Since the Heart of the Armada is silent, an individual called Schovkrodon wants to take control of the Endless Armada.

In another region of space, the five hundred Krane spaceships commanded by Surfo Mallagan and his cloud of Spoodies arrive in M-82.

Taurec and Gesil go on a recon mission on the Syzzel and discover a crystal ship of the Ptemo-Ogaides. These spaceships remind Jercygehl An of a discussion he read in the Chronicles of the Armada once, and that the Cygrides were once involved with the Ptemo-Ogaides. Rhodan is interested in reading the Chronicles of the Armada but they are only accessible to Armadists. Jercygehl An suggests him to look for the White Ravens, a people of the Armada who could fit him with an Armada Flame.

The Terran spaceship Ranapu discovers Magno Crust. It is an asteroid 14km in diameter that used to be a part of Ordoban. In a distant past, it separated from Ordoban and started growing, supervised by Operators who are forcefully recruited and implanted with a device to guarantee their obedience. Only non-Armadists can be operators and when Rhodan arrives to investigate, he is captured and turned into an Operator himself. Taurec manages to rescue him and they escape, along with the fifty members of the Ranapur.

Rhodan has learned from one of the Operators where he could find White Sparrows and in exchange for the information, he gives them the location of the Ckaghoor, the Sleep Beacon that had disappeared after the journey through the Frost Ruby and the Terran shuttles found by accident. One of the Terrans, Rag Cornus, is visited at night by a mysterious woman who calls herself Belice. She asks him to help her recover the Viral Empire, who belongs to her. When Cornus tells Quiupu about Belice, the scientist immediately makes a connection with Srimavo and Gesil.

The Ufonaut Geredus arrives on Srakenduurn and asks Quiupu to interrupt all work on the Viral Empire in the name of the Cosmocrats, who have detected the presence of Vishna. The risk of the mysterious entity gaining control of the Viral Empire is too big, so the Viral Empire should be destroyed. Geredus tells Quipu the story of Vishna.

However, the Viral Empire had had time to build up defenses and as soon as the negative entity tried to take control of it, it exploded in billions of tiny fragments, blowing up Vishna as well, who ended up mixed in the remnants of the Empire.

In the million of years that followed, the Cosmocrats started rebuilding the Viral Empire but realized that components of Vishna were irremediably mixed with it.

Geredus attempts to destroy the Viral Empire with the fleet of the Ufonauts but it's already too late. Belice has taken control of it and she destroys the attackers. She tells the Terrans she's on her way to destroy the Earth and then disappears.

The scientific assistant Phoebe Sam in her leisure time, is out together with the robot Schmackofatz, the BASIS courier. The latest issue of the old fashioned prepared newspaper is now examining Gesil, who is squandering no more illicit flames and thus no longer infatuated by every man. The woman has apparently finally decided on Perry Rhodan.

A White Raven appears on 16 August 426 NGZ at the BASIS. But on its white sail area are many stains. Jercygehl An cannot tell if it means something special. The Tarnished one offers the Galactics his Armada Flames, and Rhodan offers in return the Ring of the Cosmocrats and Laires’ Eye. Then he comes on board to a heated discussion, because Taurec, Jen Salik, Roi Danton and Waylon Javier are against Rhodan's plans. But the Terran asserts himself. The Raven then offers him a very personal Flame, but however, a cell sample is required. Again, there is a discussion, but Rhodan insists on his position. However, he lets Gucky and Alaska Saedelaere teleport to the highest point of the Tarnished so that they can join in in secret the flight of the Raven.

The GRUNDAMOAR while having the external shape of a sleeping-buoy, is actually a laboratory ship. It is currently occupied by the Silver Verkutzon, plus a crew of pale-skinned, short stature Gutzellakoren, among them the scientist Nchur as well as reprogrammed Armada technicians. Nchur’s people formerly populated an Armada unit, but was then enslaved by the Armada forges and pressed into service. Verkutzon expected the return of a Tarnished, who is traveling on his behalf. His thoughts revolve around creating a Synchronite.

After a rapid flight, the Tarnished reached an asleep buoy, as it seems. From there, technicians approach, discover and attack Gucky and Saedelaere who still have trouble resigning themselves to their new fortune.

Gucky teleported to the dead-pale in the sleep-buoy, which quickly turns out to be the laboratory ship. The Ilt telepathically scans the thoughts of the Gutzellakoren (Silver cannot be telepathically scanned) and learns of a plan to create a Synchronite in a Synchrodrom - from Rhodan's cell sample.

One day after the departure of the Tarnished, a crisp White Raven appears and also offers Armada Flames. When he hears about the Tarnished, the Raven explains it is a traitor and an outcast. He further claims that the Galactics will never hear from both their friends and the two instruments – the Ring and the Eye.

The White Raven is also told about the cell sample. He is appalled and reveals that that the Silver will produce a Synchronite of Rhodan in order to manipulate him. To many Galactics this all sounds like voodoo, but the persons in charge are aware of the seriousness of the situation.

Gucky and Saedelaere also encounter the Silver, who is protected by a strong energy field. Before their eyes, Verkutzon destroys the Ring and the Eye and then the cell sample from the GRUNDAMOAR.

The Tarnished would have been repaired for his services to the Silver, which will not happen now. Despite his disappointment, he agrees to fly the two Galactics back to the BASIS. Meanwhile, a hundred White Ravens have gathered at the BASIS. On August 19, the Tarnished appears, they descend on him, let the Ilt and the Terran go and drive the traitor into a nearby sun. They then withdraw and declare that there will be no further contact until the situation about the Synchronite is settled. But they also point out a planet, which is currently being plundered by the Silver.

A few Tsunamis penetrate inside Klongheim but they have to retreat in front of the superior firepower of the Klongs, who use weapons causing rifts in the space-time continuum.

The Klongs and the Parsfs strike back and send robots on the planets of the Solar System. Some of them are captured and analyzed on board of a Tsunami.

Belice notices the discrepancy in the position of the Earth and the Moon and suspects that she is watching an illusion. She sends probes after the temporal dam and starts attacking the real planets after she has found them. The attacks cause time anomalies on the Earth and several Tsunamis disappear. The attack suddenly ends for no apparent reason.

As Jen Salik, Ras Tschubai and Gucky awake, they suspect that they are now in the Armada Forge. The two mutants feel that they cannot use their psychic powers at this location. They also learn that their guards are from the people of Pellacks. They are 3.50 meters long, caterpillar-like creatures whose abdomen moves on four legs. The front body rises vertically and ends in a pointed head with two protruding eyes.

The Armada Forge is called HORTEVON and consists of the fabrication control ring and sphere. The ring has an outer diameter of 20 kilometers with a cross section of eight by four kilometers. In the ring, the control sphere is of a diameter of 6,000 meters. On board dwell the Silvers Parwondov, Catewnor and Meegoron. They are currently discussing how get at the Terrans, because apparently Schovkrodon has failed and is no longer alive.

The Pellacks tell their captives that they were the assistants of the Forge for many generations. In HORTEVON live three clans, each headed by a Hadr. The Pellack Schamar seeks just his Hadr Schumirg, because he has learned that the prisoners have similar ethical principles as the Pellacks and cannot be considered enemies. But Schumirg, who wants to take revenge, issues a fierce rebuff to Schamar.

Gucky feels a strong mental power source on board the control sphere in which they are located. Surprisingly, he can psionically recharge there and then makes a spontaneous teleportation. He meets a little later with Schamar who is willing to help him. The Ilt learns the concept of the Goon-hell, which the fabrication ring is intended.

The control sphere is called Wett, although the term actually means the psi potential. Most operations in the Forge are in fact psionically controlled and monitored. The Mental Energy or the Wetness is collected by the Armada on their raids and convey it to the Forges. There it will be hoarded by the Silver, because they want to use it in the battle against the Armada heart. Gucky refuels his energy again and then frees his two companions. Together with the Pellack they continue their flight - and the hunt for the Silver begins.

The four-man group finally reaches the fabrication ring which is divided according to the statements of Schamar into the regions Black Fire, the zone Great Curing and the area of the testing zone. The Pellacks working there are called blind die-hards. Gucky must again go to the control ball to psionically recharge. The Announcer enhances the Heel's brain capacities, making him more intelligent every year. Twenty-five years pass, and a spaceship from a race called Anximes land on the planet. They have detected the radiations from the Announcer and they want to study it. Seth Apophis penetrates the spaceship and incapacitates the crew. The Announcer forces them to find a new body to host the consciousness of the Heel, which is reaching the end of her life span. They choose a female-looking androide body. Seth Apophis then kills all the Anximes except for one, Simsim, who is forced to become her assistant.

Seth Apophis realizes that she now possesses the power to influence other human beings remotely. She taps into the sun to augment the power of the Announcer, which is now sending a message through the endangered galaxy, promising its inhabitants that the shockwaves currently shaking it up will soon be fixed. Seth Apophis names the galaxy Sethdepot and creates Aitheran, the city where she settles.

Over the years, Seth Apophis keeps casting her psychic jets within Sethdepot and soon starts venturing to neighboring galaxies. One thousand of years have passed and Simsim reaches the end of his life. Before dying, he tells Seth Apophis that he has never really served her. He has modified the message sent by the Announcer to warn the recipients about the danger represented by Seth Apophis and he predicts that soon, she will encounter enemies that will defeat her.

To protect herself, Seth Apophis deploys a new set of protections involving the Carmena, semi-sentient plants that can be found on a lot of planets within Sethdepot. The entire system containing Aitheran is hidden behind an energy field which makes it look like an empty nebula. Tapped beyond its energy, the sun starts giving signs of weakness and the internal planets are slowly deserted, replaced by spectral creatures.

Seth Apophis continues to spread, marking every creature under her control with a designated aura called the Aura Seal. At some point during her expansion, she meets for the first time one of her peers, who calls himself It. He warns her that she is overstepping her boundaries and that next time she tries to invest a domain that is not hers, conflicts will ensue. Confused, Seth Apophis retreats but she decides she will continue with her expansion anyway.

She finally gives up her corporeal appearance and merges into the millions of consciousnesses she has assimilated over the past centuries. She discovers a double quasar which she decides to use as a reflector to fool her enemies. She also locates a psi cloud radiating in the red spectrum that the calls the Psi Ruby.

More millennia go by and Seth Apophis starts feeling a growin unrest in her consciousnesses. She suspects that she is reaching a maximum capacity and she decides to transfer the consciousnesses inside the Psi Ruby.

The transfer has catastrophic consequences: the cloud blows up into a mini galaxy covering a thousand light years and suddenly disappears. It rematerializes millions of light years away and then keeps teleporting randomly throughout the universe. Every time it reappears, it causes entire star systems to explode under the incredible amount of energy it radiates.

The Cosmocrats decide to intervene and send the Porleyters on a mission to anchor the small galaxy. Using slow matter, Clynvanth-Oso-Megh and Lafsater-Koro-Soth manage to immobilize the spinning galaxy, which they baptize the Frost Ruby because it is no longer emitting any energy.

Seth Apophis realizes that the next step of her evolution, turning into a Matter Source, is not going to happen and she decides to fight It in order to avoid her fate: becoming a Matter Sink. She finds the Terrans and also the cathedral Kedschan, which is the seat of the Cosmocrats in her neighborhood. She manages to penetrate inside the cathedral and to steal weapons to use against the Terrans, among which the Time Points. She tries to conquer Kedschan but the last-minute intervention of Lethos-Terakdschan forces her to retreat.

Her offensive against Terra with the Time Points fails and Seth Apophis realizes that the Terrans are tough opponents. When she finally thinks she has them cornered near the Frost Ruby, they surprise her by plunging inside the small galaxy, shortly followed by the Endless Armada, which she knows nothing about.

The sudden materialization of the huge armada in her native galaxy puts her into shock and she loses consciousness for ten months.

Seth Apophis finally wakes up and, realizing the presence of numerous enemy spaceships in Sethdepot, orders her own forces to move against the intruders.

On its way to Loolandre, the Galactic Fleet detects the aura of Seth Apophis on a planet called Redworld. A team lands on the planet and meets Harman, the messenger of Seth Apophis, who tells them that they will soon become slaves of the super-intelligence. During the interaction, Seth Apophis manages to turn a member of the expedition into one of her agents.

The fleet resumes its course and is soon attacked by forces of the super-intelligence. Most of the crew of the Base falls under Seth Apophis' influence except for the activator bearers and those that carry an Armada Flame. The super-intelligence contacts Gesil and tells her that she will reveal everything about her origin if she accepts to betray Rhodan. Gesil refuses.

Gesil asks the doctor to administer her a drug that will allow her to protect her thoughts and then devises a plan to reconquer the Base. Unfortunately, the doctor was under Seth Apophis' control and the Base becomes prisoner of the super-intelligence. The Terrans are taken to Aitheran, the center of Seth Apophis' kingdom.

1161 - Totentanz in M 82
Dead Dance in M 82
Kurt Mahr

Seth-Apophis physically savors her triumph over Perry Rhodan, the henchman of her adversary IT. That's why they wake the now ancient Anximien Beraal-Body in the Golden Palace. Thus it is indeed vulnerable, but they also activate the Guardian. It is a psionic unit that can protect them from the Immune who have not responded to their jet-rays. What the Superintelligence does not know is that the Guardian also wakes the avenger - and the dead-dance can begin.

Rhodan and Nahor of the Loolandre are flown by Waylon Javier to Aitheran. There they will find the biotic robot Atoresk which has a wormlike body. Later comes the added projection Harman, which leads the Galactics to the Golden Palace. Here they confront the Super Intelligence, in an almost dead, already mummified female body. There follows the first mental blow to Rhodan and Nahor, in the center of its power is no longer a problem.

Now that her two opponents are incapacitated and with a second mental blow she will finally make them her slave. For the time being, Seth-Apophis sought her most powerful weapons to use against the Endless Armada. It is the Burning Army. She also brings the Cygrides to the planet, which she considers safe and secure.

The Avenger awakens after millions of years. It is a projection, a package of psionic vibrations with independent thinking skills. Its name is Simsin. The projection helps Rhodan and Nahor survive the effects of mental shock, and frees Javier from the clutches of the Superintelligence. Simsin reported to them the history of Seth-Apophis and transports them to the Golden Palace.

The work is done, and Seth-Apophis brings out the second, final, mental shock. She is startled, because the shock leads nowhere. The prisoners are no longer in the Golden Palace, and Seth-Apophis feels an unprecedented creaturely fear rising in her.

The projection Simsins divides into three individual projections. A-Simsin leads Rhodan, Javier and Nahor to an eerie place where they are to salvage something (the conserved Heel- Body). B-Simsin appears to the Cygrides, and he leads some of them to the Golden Palace. He has them reactivate the old programming of the Herald of Parsynns.

Meanwhile C-Simsin takes over  Seth-Apophis. For the Superintelligence it is a shock to see her former confidant again. But then it's easy for her to disable her enemies. Only after she recognizes the whole truth. The Golden Palace has once again become heralds and proclaims the greatness of Uxförd. Thus she has lost contact with the Frost Ruby and her consciousness pool. The consciousness splinters are free again, and Seth-Apophis is no longer a Superintelligence.

The time of wrath and vengeance are not yet over. B-Simsin confronts Seth-Apophis and staggers the android body with a mortal blow. Shortly thereafter, enters A-Simsin with the Heel Body and Seth-Apophis' consciousness has only one chance. With the creaturely fear of the end, the consciousness leaves the dying Beraal body and returns to the original body. The Heel-female which will also soon lost her intelligence, flees from the Herald to the murky world Aitherans. Where there will soon come to an end.

Simsin disables the Herald, because the era is so like that of Parsynns, expired. Thus passes the projection of the avenger.

* * *

The Galactic Fleet is still some time in the vapor cloud. It turns out that Seth-Apophis' auxiliary people are free and have adjusted their attacks against the Endless Armada. On March 18, the fleet finally breaks out at the Loolandre.

From the history of negative superintelligence it has become clear that there is a negative counterpart to the Cosmocrats who do not aspire to order but to chaos. This raises the question how these Chaotarchs will react to this defeat of Seth-Apophis?

Because of the Storm Rider perturbances, the Grey Corridor starts destabilizing and the Earth is attacked from its various inhabitants. The Storm Riders and the Adepts are engaged in a fierce battle and Vishna loses 30% of her troops.

In order to become a full Cosmocrat, Taurec tries to merge with his shadow. They were separated fourteen months earlier when Vishna attacked the Cosmocrats, who sent Taurec on this side of the Matter Sources.

In a distant past, Taurec and Vishna were both cosmocrats. Taurec aspired to serve the code of the Cosmocrats while Vishna was hungry for power. She merged with the Viral Empire in an attempt to gain more power but the giant computer's failsafe made it explode, scattering Vishna's consciousness throughout the universe.

This explosion caused an imbalance in the order of the universe and the Cosmocrats realized they needed to reconstruct the viral empire in order to restore that balance. Since neither the Knights of the Abyss nor the Endless Armada seemed to be able to restore the Moral Code of the universe, the Cosmocrats asked Taurec to do it.

Taurec received additional powers through his shadow but as soon as he emerged from the Matter Sources, he was attacked by Vishna, who separated them.

When Taurec attempts to reunite with Chthon, the shadow runs away, trying to protect his own personality that he developed over the past months. Vishna takes the form of Taurec and captures Chthon. Using the Moral Code of the Cosmocrats, Taurec manages to locate Chthon in the Tower Zero, where he meets with Vishna.

Taurec reunites with Chthon and confronts Vishna, whom he accuses of having joined the negative power of the universe. Using the Moral Code, Taurec manages to overpower Vishna who ceases to resist. The negative side of Vishna disappears and she rejoins the positive forces of the universe.

Still under Belice's human form, Vishna cleans up all traces of her work on the Earth. Only the Time Towers remain. The news is received with a lot of worry from the people of the Milky Way, who are afraid that such a huge fleet will create chaos and destruction in its wake.

When Ernst Eller penetrates inside the Time Tower Zero, he feels a deadly cold and Taurec tells him he has just seen a glimpse of the future to come. Vishna informs the Terrans that all the Time Towers need to be taken down so that whatever happens in the future doesn’t risk to impact the past as well. All the Time Towers disappear and are replaced by columns allowing the Terrans to connect the Viral Empire whenever they need to.

In the Eastside sector of the Milky Way, a fleet of the Blues is following the signal sent from Gorgengol. When they reach the planet, they are puzzled by the presence of the Signal Flame. Suddenly, the temperature on the planet starts dropping dramatically and when it reaches the absolute zero, everything touched by the cold dissolves.

Ellert, Taurec and Vishna arrive on Gorgengol and realize that the Powers of Chaos have taken notice of the flame and are now trying to disrupt the arrival of the Endless Armada in the Milky Way. The Powers of Chaos have an arsenal of ten weapons called the Decalogue of the Elements. They just activated their first weapon, called the Element of Cold, which emanates from a different universe where the absolute zero is -961 degress, and not -273 degrees in the normal universe. When the cold drop unders -273 degrees, the target of the attacked is transferred into the other universe.

As the Element of Cold propagates, Taurec and Vishna realize that their only hope is to activate the Signal Flame earlier than planned. This activation was supposed to happen only when the Endless Armada would reach Gorgengol, but it is the only way to save the Flame. When the activation is triggered, the Element of Cold disappears and Gorgengol dissolves. 1184 - Der Weg der Flamme
The Way of the Flame
Thomas Ziegler

Taurec explains to Bull that the Decalogue of the Elements was created by the Powers of Chaos millions of years ago, before the Frost Ruby was anchored by the Porleyters. In the meantime, all they can do is follow the Signal Flame, which arrives near a Solar System. The Flame wraps the entire solar system in an energetic field and suddenly, the entire solar system disappears. Taurec explains that the Signal Flame is creating a corridor of ten light years in the Milky Way os that the Endless Armada will be able to fly through. The solar systems are displaced in another dimension that can be reached through an interdimensional tunel.

On the Blue Ship Trillit Tyrr, the Element of War slowly manages to infect the entire crew and it then sets cours toward Kaarjon, the next solar system that the Signal Flame is headed toward.

Bull, Taurec and Vishna arrive in Kaarjon and when the displacement occurs, they are taken into the other dimension along with the solar system. In the normal continuum, a giant spaceship of one hundred kilometers appears called the Prince of Reason. It carries the Element of Technology and is commandeered by Kazzenkatt, the Element of Command, who is in charge of the Decalogue of the Elements.

1185 - Feind der Kosmokraten
Enemy of the Cosmocrats
Thomas Ziegler

Kazzenkatt has the ability to Zero-dream, which allows him to teleport his consciousnesses across great distances and to control the other elements. He arrives on the World of a Hundred Suns, which is one of the Chrono-Fossiles. The Element of Cold has already acted there and surrounded the planet with a gigantic wall of ice. With the help of the Machine 12, one of the spaceships in his armada, he prepares a trap for Taurec and then heads for the system of Vizzin.

When the Syzzel arrives in the system of Vizzin, a fictive transmitter teleports it on the surface of the planet, where the spaceship is suddenly wrapped in a field of Shape Energy. Taurec, Vishna and Bull are captured and taken on board the Machine 12, but Ellert manages to decoporealize himself and escape the trap.

By exploring consciousnesses on the Machine 12, Ellert discovers Kazzenkatt's plan: destroy the Signal Flame with a hexadim magnet controlled by the Element of Technology. Ellert sabotages the Machine 12 and frees the three prisoners. They leave the spaceship as it blows up, destroying the hexadim magnet.

The Signal Flame appears and displaces the system of Vrizzin, as planned. Then it heads toward Verth, the central world of the Blues which also happens to be the Chrono-Fossile for the East side of the Milky Way.

After his defeat, Kazzenkatt is summonned by Master of the Elements in the Negasphere, the space ruled by the Powers of Chaos where no laws of physics and no causality apply.

He is told that he underestimated his enemies and that he now needs to invoke all the Elements at once if he wants to prevail. Kazzenkatt complies and sends a call to the remaining elements: the Element of Time, the Element of Space, the Element of Mask, the Element of Transcendance, the Element of Spirit and the Element of Darkness, probably the most dangerous of all and which hasn't been used in three thousand years.

1186 - Dekalog der Elemente
The Decalogue of Elements
Ernst Vlcek

Kazzenkatt summons the Decalogue of the Elements from his hiding place, a pulsar inside Eastside. First, the chronimals, small creatures from the periphery of the Negasphere who have the abiliy to influence timelines. They are the Element of Time. The Element of Technology creates hundreds of Elements of Transcendance, slugs that can turn their victim into an apathy state.

The Gruuthes are the Element of Space: one-hundred long worms shaped as T's that travel through space and carry the Elements of Spirit. The Elements of Mask, also called Margenans, have the ability to take the shape of any creature and can only be betrayed by their smell. Kazzenkatt decides to launch the offensive without the Element of Darkness, that he fears anyway.

Thousand of ships from the galactic fleet gather in the system of Verth to defend Gatas. Taurec tells Bull that when the Endless Armada arrives in the Milky Way, it must go through every single Chronofossil of the galaxy, among which are Gatas and the World of a Hundred Suns, where the Posbis are still busy fighting the Element of Cold.

The Element of Technology teleports a few Elements of War on Gatas. This new generation has been altered to resist Taurec's neutralizing weapon, and soon, the Blues are reduced to a small army entrenched in the seat of the Blue government.

The Elements of Spirit attach the Galactic Fleet but the Terrans realize that the Antis are able to resist them. Similarly, the Element of Space can be repelled by Gravity bombs and they soon have to retreat. Disguised as Halutians, the elements of Mask land on Gatas and introduce several Elements of Transcendance on the surface. The Element of Time brings from the past hundreds of Blue soldiers but Ernst Ellert manages to neutralize them.

Kazzenkatt is suffering from increasing perturbations coming from mysterious disturbances in the pulsar where he is commanding his armies from. He eventually loses control over the Elements and has to retreat on board his spaceship, the Prince of Reason. His last command before he leaves is to activate the Element of Darkness.
